STUDIO POLICIES

Cancellations

Lesson missed due to a student conflict: every effort will be made to schedule a makeup lesson within 30 days. Lesson missed due to a conflict in my schedule: a make up lesson will be scheduled within 30 days. In the rare event that I am unable to do so, it will be your choice to receive a refund for the lesson missed or apply this amount as a credit toward the following month.

Due to multiple holidays landing on Mondays, Monday students may choose to schedule a makeup lesson within 30 days of that holiday, not to exceed 3 make up lessons per year.

Suspending Lessons

72 hours notice is required in the event you choose to suspend lessons. Please keep in mind that if you are doing so temporarily, there may be a waiting list and therefore your slot may not be available if and when you decide to resume lessons.

Inclement Weather

The studio's inclement weather policies will not necessarily coincide with local school district closures.

All families will be emailed after the Studio has made an informed decision on the road conditions. There will not be refunds for lessons missed due to inclement weather, but make up lessons will be offered if times are available.

Holidays and Breaks

June and July breaks are subject to change, but I will give plenty of advanced notice. Reminders will be emailed.

In Studio Rules/Privacy

Early drop-offs and late pickups are welcomed, and students may bring homework or reading to do quietly during this time. Must contact me first to discuss the logistics of the arrangement.

Parents and students will be expected to wait quietly if they arrive while another student is finishing their lesson. Entering and exiting should be done quietly so as to not interrupt another student's lesson.

Experience has shown that most students do tend to focus better when their parents are not in the studio during lessons. This decision is between the parent and student but will be addressed if ongoing issues arise.
